toast 8 unexpectedly quits all the time

i am new to the macs and to toast so i could be doing something wrong.

 

i ripped a movie, a small one 2.5 GB, and tried to toast it to dvd. after putting video ts folder in the main window, i hit copy options or just the burn button and each time the app says it has unexpectedly quit do i want to relaunch. i do and it quits again. i'm not sure what to do next.

 

the files are complete because i used handbrake to put the movie on my ipod. it went smoothly.

 

any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks, tracyj

Last night, I (once again) completely removed Toast 8.0.3 and its settings in the Library from my system and re-installed from the CD.

 

However, clicking on copy options still causes it to hang.

 

I hope the folks at Roxio are going to release an update, because I just don't know what else I could do. It USED to work, but now it doesn't.
