Question

I have converted a MP3 audio book over to a .WAV file format. When I attempt to burn the start of the book, the length is 4:45 minutes to long. I would love to know how to edit the time out need so that I can burn the cd. HELP!!!

For one thing, MP3 audio files are condensed and smaller in size than the same audio file if it's a WAV file format. So when you converted the MP3 audio files to WAV files that increased the total amout of memory. Not knowing how large the original MP3 book was compared to what the converted wav files total and what kind of media you are trying to burn the wav files to, it's pretty hard to know what you might do. Editing the wav audio files so that you can reduce the total by 4:45 minyutes would be one suggested that has alreadyt been suggested.

64 bit mp3. I will try the sound editor if I can find the program. I have the Xilsoft package, nero 8 and of course, the rixio 10.

I used the editor and was able to reduce the time. Thanks

Have you tried Sound Editor yet? It should do what you need. It can edit many audio formats.
