Question

I just got Toast8 and, successfully burned my first TS-Video. But now I want Toast media browser to see my iphoto library on my external FW drive. Motion Pictures sees it but not the media browser. I searched on this site but could not find a satisfactory answer. Any ideas?

What version of ilfe are you using? I think that ilife '08 and Toast have some issues together at the moment. If the Audio selection in media browser does not locate your files, try switching it to "Files" instead and then browsing over, although I admit for most itunes users its harder to find what you need that way.

Thanks for your reply but I'm not using ilife, just what was bundled, and I'm talking about my iphoto library on an external HDD, not itunes. m

A friend of mine has experienced similar problems with Media Browsers in other applications seeing her iPhoto Library. I'm trying to recall what we did to solve it (or even if we did solve it). I think we created a new iPhoto Library but I don't remember if this made any difference. It could be that you need to get and run DiskWarrior and that will fix whatever directory issue may be causing this.
