Apple TV 1920X1080

cjsmith6

Question

When I try to convert a toast file into the 1920X1080 HD Apple TV format I get an error message right at the very end. It says something like: Popcorn cannot do that command because there was an OS error. Error: -50. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

OK after a couple of tests I have found that the quality of video at 1280X720 is too choppy for viewing. Right now I am encoding an action movie at a lower resolution but the maximum frame rate.

Will post results

Also check the AppleTV forum Here to learn if others have posted tips on maximizing the HD picture quality.

I'm testing now with a 1920x1080 29.97 fps MPEG 2 video and it seems to be crawling along. It may be there is a problem with the source video (dropped frames are common for me with OTA HD captures).

Do you have an AppleTV? The maximum resolution supported by it is 1280x720 24 fps.
