grandpabruce
i bought V10 and installed. Seems to be working fine. Thanks again. High fives to you! If you have questions, drop back in here and ask.
shark66
Open the MyDVD application. In the Menu Tasks pane (left pane), clcik Add New Movie. Navigate and select your mpg file. This will create a title button. Righ click on that title, and select Edit Chapters. When I click on the name of the .mpg file in the Project View Box the only options I get are to Cut, Copy, Delete, Edit Movie, Go To Linked Movie, or Rename. I don't see any option to Edit Chapters. If so, it is a stripped down OEM version that doesn't have the complete capabilities of the retail version.

shark66
It's an OEM. See post #4 above of grandpabruce. Thanks. I thought I was going crazy. Can I upgrade this version? Or do I need to buy a new version?
malatekid
Thanks. I thought I was going crazy. Can I upgrade this version? Or do I need to buy a new version? I'm afraid there's no upgrade version for this. Easy Media Creator 10 is the latest full retail version. It comes in two different flavors: regular Suite and the Deluxe. I was thinking that if the Easy media Creator 9 Trial version is still available, you may want to check it out first before buying. I don't have the link for that trial version handy but try searching the forum for download link. I'll look around, too.

malatekid
You're welcome. Anyway, here is the link to the Easy Media Creator 9 trial version. You need to uninstall the Premier (you have a backup cd for that software, do you?) and do a clean install (check forum to get the steps for clean install).
