Dazzle DCV100 - No Signal

ERF456

Question

I have tried to connect the Dazzle DVC 100 to capture video from my television, VCR & cable box. I have used my dexktop PC (Windows XP) & my laptop (windows Vista). I have all of the updated drivers and all of the connections are secure. On each instant when I connect I see the message NO SIGNAL. Is there something that I am doing wrong.

Make sure that you have the Input set correctly. It's either Composite or S-Video depending on your connection. If you have it set incorrectly then you'll get the "No Signal" above the preview window.

I have it working in both XP on v9 and in Vista on v10 and I used the driver disc that came with my V10 discs.

... and the ever famous, plug it into a USB port on the back of your computer. :D Sometimes the ones in the from do not have enough power for it to work properly.

Can we assume you have the Pinnacle drivers.
