When I copy a DVD using Toast Titanium, it eats up about 4 GB of hard disk space. I have File Vault turned on (but don't know if the intermediate temp files are stored in the file vault -- the trash is empty). The only way I've figured out how to recover this space is by restarting, choosing to recover File Vault space.
Is there an easier way to recover this space?
How can I tell where the temp files are stored? I tried to find them (by using Finder search, searching for recently saved large files), with no luck. The files seem to be hidden. They are not visibly stored to the "Roxio Converted Items" directory shown in the Titanium preferences.
