Best Quality Dvd-r Brands. . .

Question

I bought 50 or so DVD-R TDK's a couple weeks ago, 5 or 6 of them worked for burning movies on, but now none seem to work. I just bought Toast and tried them and they didn't work using this either so I'm guessing it's a bad batch of DVD-R's.. . . does anyone have any suggestions on what brand is the best for burning TS_Video movies on my Macbook Pro, least amount of medium write errors. .

THankssss

Lots of people swear by a Japanese brand called Taiyo Yuden. Be forewarned, there are lots of knock off Taiyo Yuden DVDr's out there and I've been told the only reliable place to buy them from is Super Media Store dot com, which can guarantee that they're selling you the genuine ones made in and imported from Japan.

Happy burning!

My vote goes to Taiyo Yuden, from supermediastore.com, it's where I buy them. You might enjoy reading this article, answers to your questions asked to Torsten Leye, Marketing Manager Optical Verbatim, about Verbatim media, here.

Your Verbatim's could be manufactured in India by Moser Baer, or in Taiwan by CMC and Prodisc.
