Trouble Creating Dvd

pondern

Question

I am trying to burn a file that is 150 minutes/1.75GB, and I am trying to use an 8.5GB Dual Layer CD with 240 minutes of available play time, but the program keeps telling me that there is not enough space on the DVD. Does anyone have a solutoin?

A DL disc will only hold about 1:57 at Best quality and you have 2:30...

Builder has 2 hour limit for any Title.

So you will need to split your project into 2 Titles and Burn to File (iso).

Then use Disc Copier to burn the ISO file to disc. It will warn you about the size but will re-render to fit the disc. (it does a better job of it than Builder)

Understand that you will have to sacrifice some quality to get that much on a disc.

When you go to burn, unselect the DVD burner and select the 'image file' directly beneath it. That's an .iso file. It contains the 'image' (original DVD) that you want to burn to a DVD.
