Still Can't Install Content

kaldon2003

Question

I've tried several times to install Content after installing the downloaded verison of Roxio Creator 8 Suite Home. When I try to install Content I get the message about needing to reboot. Did that, several times. I've read the posts in this formum they tell me to open Roxio and open MyDVD, media manager or some other function - none of which do I find on the opening page of Roxio Creator 8 Suite Home. I have Home, Audio, Backup, Copy, Data, DVD & Video, etc. I've opened several of them, then closed the program and tried again.

Do I have some other Roxio program????

Do I need to ask for a refund?

Open from the Home icon. Click on Applications. Click on Media Manager. If it isn't there, you have big problems, that have nothing to do with the software.

Close Media Manger. Install the Content.

This has to be the stupidist installation I've ever encountered. I stumbled onto the way to find Media Manager and finally got Content to install. But why should I have to open a program, invoke one of it's features, then close it, just to complete the installation? I see by other posts that this is not an unusual problem.

Hasn't Roxio ever heard of "User Friendly?"

Haven't got a clue. You would have to ask Roxio. BTW, you are welcome. :)
