Operating System Error - Import Images

nitmd

Question

I'm working on a project and prepared a tiff file to import for that. When I go to import an image (any image), I get a box with the error "operating system error : number = 0x00000001 - incorrect function

Any idea what is causing this or how to fix it? I haven't used DVDit Pro in some time, but don't think I had this problem last time I did use it.

I can bring in my audio and video files without any problems.

On Windows XP.

[bump]

I tried a repair of the program through the control panel, add and remove programs, repair; no effect

I then uninstalled and reinstalled the program, no effect

I seem to have solved this. A basic reinstall did not fix it. I next uninstalled all sonic products from the machine (eDVD, etc) and went to the registry, deleted all references to sonic, rebooted, and reinstalled. I can now import images.
