antwesor
I know this might have been hashed over before, but I am using Roxio 6 to create a DVD and it seems to chew up 100% CPU cycles for about 1 hour or so in the file system generation phase before completing the DVD. Drive is TEAC DVD+RW DV-W58E, Windows XP sp2, Creator Classic from Roxio 6 suite. Also using TDK DVD+R media. Is the lag time in creating the file system normal? Thanks for your help. You must have a very fast computer for it to complete a 1 hour project in an hour! Something between 2 and 8 is about par depending on CPU speed. Versions 7 & 8 will utilize Smart Render. If a file is compliant it will breeze through that file.

I am glad that it does take about that long to render a DVD project. See you later,
