Avi Problems And More!

Hey all, i'm trying to burn a new dvd for my friends, but every icon i choose thats an AVI has a red circle witha cross through it! i need this done! my friend's film festival is in 3 days and i cant email it! TOO BIG! How can i overcome the AVI problem?

Yes, the files are on my hard drive, and NO i don't believe they are "protected" how could i tell if they were?!?! is there a special thing to see?/ it says it "doesn't support that type of format."

Do the AVI files play on your PC okay? May be it is a missing codec.

yes they play smashingly on the computer. its some of my finest work.

Nope didn't work. It's basically all AVI's. i'm going to try to purchase a avi converter. im running out of time!

That one won't work...... should be hotfix, not hotix.

Source of the files? Are they on your hard drive? Are they "protected"?
