C & C 3 Slow Converting?

I am using this program to convert mov file to wmv9 for my Zune. Is it normal to take an hour or longer (2 to 3) to convert an 1 hr and 30 min movie? I may also not know what I need to change in settings to make this work better for me, any help would be great, Thanks!

Recoding time depends very much on your machine's performance, But it quite common for a conversion to take significantly longer than the running time of a movie. There's a lot of work involved.

When I first started working on transcoding video I was a bit dismayed at how long it took and how hot it got my CPU. Now, even though I have some experience, I am still continually amazed at how hard both the hardware and the software have to work to produce a good output file for us. It's marvelous what they do.
