Yes, I have perused them, and I know that I may seem greedy or ridiculous. I am looking for rubics cube effect where I can put a different pics on different squares. then have it mix and shuffle and then have one pic zoom in to be highlighted. I am specifically doing a trade show video and I want to introduce different staff members. So the cube shuffles and turns then one pics zooms out of the cube to be displayed and then goes back to the cube and shuffles again. I just thought that if there was a place where many of you experts might have been tinkering and creating different effects.

Perhaps a couple of suggestions.

First look at the transitions in Slide Show Assistant. Add some images and select either 3D or 2X2 extreme. Got horought the steps and do an edit in VideoWave. You will be able to see the use of multiple image and transition tracks. You may want to edit one of those or get an idea on how to do one for scratch.

Second, look at the transitions you have available. I would suggest the 3D ones. Remember you can run many of them forward and backward and modifify the color.

Have you looked at the "Ball Mesh" transition? It is not a cube but a ball where the image disappears and rotates and out comes a different image. That is close.

Also look at coin flip, orbit, clocks-many, film strip. Or try applying a video effect to an image . Try torus, I like that one. You can apply effects to the internal track of one image or apply that effect to the entire slide show.

Just to add on to what's already been said, you can also add keyframes to further tinker with the effects. After you add the effect on the timeline double click on the effect and then click on the Keyframeable Settings button in the Settings Panel.
