HoNiB
Problem: Windows Live OneCare-scanner (Vista beta-version) removes several unwanted roxio registry keys. After cleaning the registry EMC10 apps will not start. Solution (I hope it works for you. It did for me): Simply open a new txt-file and write the following (exactly): Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3E867EE6-00C0-40FA-95C0-C9CCB3BA7692}] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3E867EE6-00C0-40FA-95C0-C9CCB3BA7692}\Implemented Categories] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3E867EE6-00C0-40FA-95C0-C9CCB3BA7692}\Implemented Categories\{8C7A8D2F-CBCA-43FB-B3BF-3CF82274841D}] "Obf"="6F29D58B643490371D247800E80B3AA482D12A7CE538FC6CA20FF78774287C6D5174CC4DFDE 47E0F693D07CCFA46F07C" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3E867EE6-00C0-40FA-95C0-C9CCB3BA7692}\InprocServer32] @="TempVector" Save the txt-file and name it TempVector.reg. After doing this import the reg-file to the registry. You should know be able to open your EMC10 apps. In my case this is the only keys that EMC10 needs to start alle the apps again. No restart is required .
