Cd Spin Doctor

Question

Hi

Just bought CD Spin Doctor after reading 'Macworld' (as others seem to have done). As soon as I try to play back the recorded track Spin doctors just hangs and I have to Force Quit. Nothing I have tried will work to get it going. all in all a really bad day!

Please does any one have any suggestions. Only just got my iMac so a bit new to all this yet.

Thanks

Martyn

I am also having to force quit CD Spin Doctor (current version) while trying to type names of the tracks after manually selecting each one. The reason I am manually selecting these tracks is because the Automatic track detection quits unexpectedly every time. I am also using Leopard on a G5/2GHz Mac with 1.5GB RAM and plenty of free hard drive space. I might add that yesterday is the very first time I ever tried using CD Spin Doctor. I tried recording with Audacity and QT Pro but found Spin Doctor the easiest to use for a beginner at converting cassettes to digital.

Same here, G5, 10.5.1, 1gb ram, startup drive has 32.66 GB available, the second internal drive has 422.16 GB available, CD Spin Doctor 4.0. I can import, select and save tracks but it locks up every time I do the most simple thing - HIT PLAY!

Just found that the way to update CD Spin Doctor is to download the Toast 8.0.3 update:

http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/toast/software_updates.html

I'm downloading it now, 146.9mb and will report back as soon as I get it up and running.

CD Spin Doctor v4.0.2:

- Resolves issue where audio preview would hang application on Leopard

- CDSD Recorder Widget display now appears correct on Leopard

Hi

Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

My iMac has been away for a week being fixed, only 5 weeks old!, and so have only just logged back on. I will try the toast 8 update and see how I go.

I have been informed by Roxio that they have a 15 day money back guarantee if not satisfied with their products. So I guess that you can get your money if it doesn't work.
