videoconverter
.MOD file is the video file format used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders. MOD files are not MPEG-2 files although the video they contain is MPEG-2 (in the same way that VOB files are not MPEG-2 files). There are many kinds of video and audio codecs for different .MOD files. If you cannot add .mod files to your conversion software or can't do the conversion job, you can modify the extension of your .MOD files to .MPG to have a try, then convert it to real MPG files or other video format you want.
