My Error Message After Installing Easy Media Creator 10 Suite

DTGRIS

Question

I installed Easy Media Creator 10 Suite the other day and I am now getting messages:

Visual C ++ runtime library

program... Mon files/Roxio Shared/10.0/ Shared COM/Rox watch tray10.exe

Also, something about an error message cannot be displayed. after selecting "details" on the error message, my screen turns black and the error message displays again..

I see Direct X 9.0 in my program files, how do I know it's installed for sure? I also downloaded Direct X10.0 not sure if I did a restart, I think so.

Please don't tell me I have to uninstall the Creator 10 Suite..??

HELP, I didn't really have the money to buy this in the first place, don't want to be sorry...

thank you so much for any help you can give me

OK I won't tell you that you have to uninstall…

However when you realize there is no easy fix, the Clean Install procedures are Here.

Print them out and skip no step!

DirectX 10 is for Vista.

Hello,

thank you GrandpaBruce

I didn't realize I even had Direct X10 with Vista,probably forgot, maybe because one day I tried to run Qucktime and it wouldn't work until I downloaded Direct X 9.. so now I have both? ok, I'll go check out the instructions again, I did see them there, tried to print them out and I couldn't why is that?

By the way, your grandkids are precious..
