Adding Up To 98 Track List 97 Tracks Per List

von

Question

I was readking some of the user guide and on page 263 it states that I can add up to 98 track list with 97 songs per track list. My question is; Is that with a regular 4.7 gig dvd or is it a special dvd with more space? I got up to 400 songs in a project using the dvd music disc and up to 2500 creating a juke box disc. Aso will it affect the sound quality? I apprecitate any information, or any helpful suggestions creating music dvd's. I find different features in the user guide but it does'nt give enough detail on all of it. such as the paragraph about adding the 98 track list.

ps

Thank you in advance for any information posted on this issue.

That should apply to a single layer (4.7Gb) disc. There is no way you're going to fit 9506 (98 lists x 97 tracks) tracks on one, even at the greatest compression level.

400 sounds about right for a Music DVD.I think I've put close to that on one disc.

For a DVD Music disc the amount of tracks you can fit on one is really dependant on which of the 3 audio formats you use. There's also menus and other stuff taking up room on the disc.

For a Jukebox disc it's just a matter of the size of the mp3's as to how many will fit. They're basically just a data disc with data (mp3's) on them.I could see 1000 mp3's fitting on a DVD no problem. If the files were smaller then you can fit more.
