I have used the "Curtain" transition to open a title slide for a slideshow (transitioning from a color panel as the first slide). I would like to be able to "close" a curtain. Is there any way to show the "curtain" transition in reverse to close a presentation. I would transition to a color panel.

Might be. I don't have EMC 8 but you can reverse the same transition in EMC 9. Add the transition and then select it, clcik on "show settings" on the left side. A new window will open where you can select reverse and also change the color. Let us know if this works for you.

You have one of the versions of EMC 8 that doesn't have all options available. The only version of EMC 8 that has everything enabled, is EMC 8 DeLuxe. A big mistake, IMHO, by Roxio.

 

When I purchased it directly from Roxio, they didn't even mention the Deluxe version. Oh, well. Would you do me a BIG favor, Grandpa Bruce? Please create a VideoWave production -- simply containing only two different color panels with a "reverse" curtain transition. Then post just the .dmsm file. In this way, I can copy the production file to see what it actually does. I know this is an unusual request but it would be a big help to me. Thank you.

Thanks. However, I have EMC8. Right-clicking a transition simply opens a menu. There is no "Settings" in this menu. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

sknis said to select the transition (left-mouse click). On the left pane of the screen, under Tools area, do you see Show Settings? Click that.
