Creating Video Dvd's For Any Computer To View

clare1976

Question

Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me. I need to be able to take a Quicktime file saved on my computer and burn it as a Quicktime file on to a blank DVD. It is a commercial we want to send to the magazines with the actual product that is in the commercial. They need to be able to extract it EASILY in order to put it on their websites.

Problem : I have only been able to burn a DVD that have all the Roxio info on it.

Question : Can't I just copy a file and burn it as is with Roxio?? Without all the Roxio stuff included?

Thanks again for any help any of you can offer.

I am not quite sure what you are trying to do. What do you mean by "Without all the Roxio stuff included"?

You cannot take a QuickTime file and burn it to a DVD as a QuickTime file and then play that DVD as a DVD movie. If you want to create a movie DVD from that QuickTime file you have burn it to a DVD using DVD Builder.

If you just want to copy that QuickTime file to a DVD or a CD as a data file then simply use Creator Classic to create a data disc. You will of course only be able to play that QT file on a computer that has the QT player installed.
