No Sound Effects Or Audio Clean Up.

I bought Easy Media Creator 7.5 and just discovered that in the Sound Editor section under the effects and audio clean up headings, nothing exists. The only thing that is listed under these tools is remove effect and then that is not even highlighted. How can you remove an effect if you can't apply it in the first place? I've unistalled and re installed this software three times with no results.

Yes, I've loaded files that I've downloaded and also my own wav. files that I recorded myself.
