jean and steve
I have successfully captured video from camcorder and the capture recognises each scene. When I "add video" in videowave the whole lot loads into one panel on the storyline so I can't edit it. What's wrong?
REDWAGON
Based on my experience with my camcorder, each time I start to record and then stop and start to record again, a new scene is created. Once I import that entire record session into Videowave, I have no problems editing it. What kind of editing are you trying to do ? Just curious but does the video you shot have audio also ? Also switch from the storyline view to the "TIMELINE" view to do you editing and check the optional icons for what type of editing you want to accomplish.. If you stay in Storyline, all you will see is that first # 1 frame showing your video. Frank...
Guest ml
Do you have a 'down' arrow on that video? If you click on that arrow , you should see the captured scenes.

You will still have one panel, but you can move within the movie to cut out parts that you don't want.
jean and steve
Have made progress. At my computer class, the example we used for editing was already saved as seperate scenes on the storyboard. I now see that it is necessary to identify scenes using media selector and then drag them into the storyboard. When that is done and saved, the production opens as I was expecting. Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Glad you found the solution. Sorry my explanation wasn't complete. For others who are having this problem in VideoWave, click on View and then Media Selector. If your video has been broken down into scenes during the EMC 10Capture process, you'll see two arrows on the video. Click on the 'down' arrow to view the 'scenes' and drag them to the sotryboard as jeanandsteve did. Have fun editing and please ask if you have any more questions.
