Need Help Adding Audio

PhotoGal

Question

I'm a Rookie and under the gun to complete a video for a funeral in 1-1/2 weeks. I have created a VideoWave 10 project with all the pictures and some audio. However, when I try to add music that I've paid for and downloaded, (add background Audio, Media Selector), I get the following error message, "Audio cannot be added to this position". Help!

As you can see I am not a guru. Even so I will try and help.

1) Add your music using the "Timeline" display and not the "Storybook" display.

2) While in Timeline, select "Show Media Selector" from the box in the upper left portion of your screen.

3) Browse to wherever you are storing your music and select the piece you want.

4) Drag the music selected to one of the audio lines available in "Timeline".

5) There is more than one audio line [eg. music, narration, etc.] You can drag the selection to any vacant line. This is helpful in that you can stack the music - should you be using more than one song - to better transition from one song to the next. You can also edit your music when in "Timeline".

I hope this is of some help.

Frank

Photogal,

Your slider bar (the blue line that you slide on Timeline view) is not on any segment of an existing clip (video or image) on the Video track. Move that slider so that it is within an existing clip/image in Video track. Now add the audio again.
