mmisgh@yahoo.com
Hello, Is there a way to edit chapters seperately? I am trying to add a transition theme, but only to one chapter, not the whole movie!? Thank you for the clarification. Can you also tell me on my main menu screen how do I get rid of the picture for my thumbnail and use just words? This is what I am trying to do. I have my main screen, have a play all button and a scene selection button. Is this possible? So far, I just have a button that goes to the scene selections. Thanks again for the clarification on the previous question!!
ggrussell
MyDVD uses predesigned templates. All you have to do is change to a menu 'style' that uses text buttons. How many styles you have may be different according to the version you purchased. MyDVD 8 Essentials only has 3 style one of which uses text buttons (Wedding). You can select that style and modify it for your own personal design. You can change th background, background music, fonts, colors, etc. You can then save that as a custom menu style (under FILE/SAVE AS MENU STYLE). See this thread for the answer to Play All and I posted a screen shot.

I actually saw that yesterday, just didn't apply it to myself! duh, Hopefully my last question, In my movie, I have different songs for different pictures, Is there a way to seperate them (for easy timing), when I go to make movie and pictures the same length, that is for the whole movie. I can't seem to select just the pictures with just the song and make equal.

Take you first set of pictures, add the music that you want for those pictures, then click on Production, then click on Fit Video and Audio. Save that production, then do the subsequent ones the same way. Once your are done with all of them, bring them all together in MyDVD, and burn them. Ok, I printed that up, I will have to try that on another project. I just set the time manually for each picture this time! Hopefully one more question and I will stop harrassing you! I have my title page with play all and scene selection, when I go to scene selection I have my seperate chapters marked with buttons (hopefully right term) Can these be animated? I know on the front page they can be. Thank you so much for your help! You are GREAT!
ggrussell
'Transition Themes' are applied to an entire movie only. If you only want a few transitions here and there, then you will have to insert them manually using EDIT MOVIE.
