Ripping Cds To My File Names

Quin

Question

I just purchased this software and I can't find this ability. I want to rip a CD and want every song to get named in the format below. I checked the help and scanned the forum a little bit butthe best I came up with was: 1 rip the CD and then 2 rename the songs. That cannot be the only option in this day and age.

Artist - Album - Track - Song Title

If someone knows how to do this in one swipe, please let me know.

Thanks,

Quin

After looking in Roxio for half a hour and not finding a way, in the order you want, in EMC10, except re-naming.

I opened EAC Exact Audio Copy, free program, uses Lame encoder. No problem and easy, some say the best audio grabber out there. CDex is another free ripper, uses Lame encoder, that will handle it also. Just open tools options in each program and set your preferences.

Quin,

Look no farther. This is in EMC 10. Check out below if this addresses your requirement.

Open Creator Classic. Select Tools->Options. Click the 3rd tab (Copy Tracks from Audio CD). Click the dropdown arrow under File Naming Structure.

The 6th selection in the dropdown fits the order you want.
