Mp4 For Ipod & Psp Both A/v Out-of-sync

Whenever I convert a movie to play on my PSP or my wife's iPod, the sound is always out of sync with the video. I had the problem in Creator 9 as well. My disks are fast Seagate Barracudas (3 X 320 GB @ 7200 rpm) and they have been defraged prior to project. Anyone able to help? Roxio support unable to solve issue.

 

ANy comment would be much appreciated.

what was the source of the movie? from a DVD? or a video file? What component did you use to convert? Video Copy & Convert?

The source was an MPEG2 video file that I had burned to DVD. It played in sync and when I used another application (Sony Media Manager), it converted fine to MPEG4 and plays back with both "sound & vision" in sync. So I guess the problem's solved. Sadly, it wasn't solved by anyone I tried to contact at the company who authored the software.

 

I am a tinkler so I would be interested to see if there was a solution to this issue. If someone has an idea and needs me to do something to the file to check on their theory, I would be only too happy to oblige.
