Slideshow Assistant Not Appearing On Selecting Slideshow

Hi All

 

This is my first post so go easy !!

 

My friend has version 9 on his Vista Laptop (Home Premium), all works well apart from the Slideshow option. Whenever he attempts to open it on his laptop thinks about it and then simply does nothing.

 

Everything else seems to be working fine.

 

I believe he said that he downloaded and installed the update (9.1) though he later stated that he had v9.0 on his laptop. (i'm a bit confused here tbh).

 

The software has been un-installed and re-installed but still the same thing happens.

 

 

Any ideas anyone ?
