Hd Dvd Blu-ray Authoring

Question

I was wondering what encoder formats are supported (VC-1, MPEG2, h.264?) and if Toast 9 will try to convert my video to something else (is there a check box to to NEVER re-encode). What about support for HD audio formats?

Toast supports MPEG-2 and H.264. H.264 is used by default, but you can change it in the Custom Encoder settings.

Toast will not re-encode content that is BD compliant. It will just multiplex MPEG-2 and AVCHD files for BD.

Audio is also passed through. If content is re-encoded, it's Dolby Digital or PCM
