Ntsc To Pal Conversion

Hi everyone,

 

I'm a novice video burner- so far I've been pretty successful making DVD videos from my min-dv camcorder using the MyDVD app. Having made a stack of dvds in NTSC format, I now hear from family in the UK that they'd like copies.

 

Is there a straightforward and simple way to make copies of the existing NTSC DVDs in PAL format for the UK?

Use Videowave.

I'd copy the DVD folders and files to your hard drive, then in Videowave add photo/video, navigate to the VideoTS folder to load the DVD then output as, select PAL, Mpeg 2 for DVD best quality.

My suggestion is to leave it om ntsc. I get a lot of flickering on my video if i convert it to pal. I just leave it in ntsc. All set top dvd players will play it correctly. The DVD players convert it automatically to pal.
