Do :"techies" Answer Their Email?

FRN

Question

I sent an email to Tech Support during the weekend. I have not received a reply that anyone is working on my question. It has been two complete working days, now. Pretty much all of the other music software companies that I have asked questions of give me some sort of a reply in a day - no more than two.

For some reason, my program will not Open. I get an error message that says my 'trial version has expired'. Trouble is, I never have had a trial version. I purchased an upgrade from the start. Most trial versions are for one month. I haven't even used my program for over two months. I have had it for at least 8 months - maybe over a year. I sure don't know of any "trial version" that lasts that long. I want to burn a couple of new discs, but, obviously I can't. And, Techies don't seem to want to discuss the situation, either.

Thanx for the link, cd. But I already read it and I don't think that I can follow any of the 'fixes'. I haven't "cleaned" my registry. I have no entry for the "key". I have a folder to keep such things, and I don't have anything for Roxio there. I may be mistaken, but I had a real hard time installing a downloaded program a while back. It may have been this one. By the time I got passed the 'checks' to install the program, recording the "key" that was given in one of the last 'checks' would have been the last thing on my mind.

No Nortons or other Internet Suite you use cleans the Registry?

Do you have your CD Key? If so run "#3 download and run Sonic's repairer utility from here.(link above) It will ask for your CD key and then replace the broken registry value."

See if it fixes the software, it won't break it anymore than it is now!
