Streamer - Can Connect But Won't Play Videos

Hi, I just installed Roxio Toast 9 with streamer, and set it all up

 

Imported a video, and can see it in streamer. When I log into the streamer account from a mac or iphone, I can see the video, but can't play it on either mac or iphone

 

Also, I converted 1 video (it was 20 mins long). That appears in the streamer program, and on mac and iphone when logged in. But I tried a 30 second clip, and it wouldn't appear in the streamer list, or on the iphone

I can see both video files in the streamer videos folder

 

EDIT: changing the quality from low to medium allowed me to see and play the 30 second clip, but not the longer one

 

Can anyone help?

Remove the apostrophe. You don't have to re-encode. And you can have streamer running to do this it will catch the change..

 

1.) Goto ~/Documents/Streamer Video's

2.) Rename the offending file.

3.) If streamer is not running start streamer. If streamer is running nothing to do. Streamer will pick up the file name change and update accordingly.

Can you add it to iTunes and sync to the iPhone?

yes to both of those

so iphone plays the video fine, but I dont want them stored on it

it has an apostrophe

ill remove it and re-encode, see if it makes a difference?
