Dell keeps saying please insert disc

hi. I am having the same problem. it says pls insert disk, it reads then stops, i press ok. it ejects my dvd-r and says pls insert again. I am copying a 5.9 gb and the dvd-r is 4.7. is that the problem? if so, what to do next? thanks

Your biggest problem is what you said above. Most here use a Retail Roxio EMC Version, with full functionality, your version is a stripped down teaser. I have no idea what you can do with your Dell Version, have you asked them?
