File Not Found Error?

savagcl

Question

Running winxp, sp2.

I installed everything within easy creator 10 (not the deluxe version).

It opens It will open as per normal but the audio cd/dvd is messed up somehow.

Trying to create a music cd or dvd. Whenever i click on one of them I immediately get a

"File not found" error asking for a .png file (starts with collage???.png). I can't cancel or

close this window. Clicking cancel (or close) only changes the file name and still

stays as "File not found". Have to reboot to get rid of the window.

Any help appreciated,

savagcl

Jim,

Feedback.

Guess that ixed the 'file not found' error.

Might have been a conflict with having Nero loaded also (got rid of Nero).

Seems to be working now except the "Quick Music DVD" does nothing

when i click it.

Thanks for the help,

savagcl

What fixed the 'file not found' error?

Never mind. My opinion: This is a piece of bad software and not very dependable either. So,

I'm back to NERO.

A, Install it, run once, shutdown/reboot = don't run (unless you repeat paragraph A again).

Ez 10 goes into the trash and i make a sticky to remind me to never buy it again!

My comp club will also be interested in this.

Jim, thanks for the feedback.

I've done "most" of that including the installer cleanup and

the registry cleanup. But i see i did miss a couple steps

shown on that page you referenced.

I'll do the cleanup as per those instructions and get back

with results.

again, thanks,

I just got the same error message.

I'm wondering if there is a way to "browse" to the file w/ the install disc rather than do a complete reinstall. I agree w/ Jim that it looks like something didn't get installed properly, but if I could just find the right folder to point the program to on the install disc it would be so much better .... :glare:

Wouldn't that be sweet!

Actually, unless savagcl1's error is different than mine, when it displays the error message for me, it also gives you a browse-type box to help you find the missing file, hence my hope that someone who knows this program alot better than me might know where those files are on the install disc ....

It is a completely different error…

Minor Irritant: If you have problems it is better to start your own Topic than to cut into one that someone else has started.

I know some think that a 'me too, me too' posting is lending some kind of moral support… I do not and it distracts from the OP which strikes me as rude. [Rant_Mode Off]
