Video Captgure

Dennis Bledsoe

I am trying to convert some of my old vhs tapes with about 2 hours onto dvds. Even though the entire video seems to get captured. When the stop capturing button is pressed. The result file only has the last half hour or so of video captured.

I'm capturing to an NTFS volume with about 350GB free space on it.

The machine is a Gateway GT5656 with 3 GB of memory with Vista Home Premium.

I'm stumped. The video capture card is a WIN TV. I can see the TV tuner and the composite video in . Everything seems to be working except for this limit I keep hitting.

 No software supplied with the video capture card. Bought it specifically because it was recommended to work with EMC.
Go to www.hauppauge.com and make sure you have the latest driver for your card. I know they did updated the Vista drivers not too long ago (month or so) for my WinTV card. Their capture software WinTV V6 is included in their download.
