Error 40207 On Burning

Thanks. That fixed things. I upgraded my GeForce 6600 EL driver from NVidia's downloads. I also updated WinXP (but as far as I know there were no DirectX 9 updates outstanding).

It now burns happily in 'hardware' mode.

EMC 10 My DVD Express crashes right at the end of a burn with 'error 40207 while encoding image'.

A search on this error shows nothing.

Any ideas anyone pls?

 

(Note that I have plenty of free disk space)

 

Update your video card/chip drivers, and burn in Software mode.

I am glad that it worked for you. The latest DirectX 9 update, came out last week or the week before.

For the Directx updates, you have to go to the Directx download area on microsoft, it's not available thru the regular Windows Update.
