Toast 9 Adding Noise To The Audio

F Kelly

Question

Well here we have the latest and greatest from Toast and the same old problems keep popping up! Music dvd is totally useless with the static noise and it doesn't matter what type of audio format or data rate you use! I think that the last version that actually worked was Toast 7?! And where is Motion Picture HD?!

I think this will be the last version of Toast I will waste my money on!

don't know if anyone is having the same issue but I can't reproduce it.

I made a Music DVD from mp3 files and there is no noise when I played it back.

We have the file that was causing this issue and planning to include a fix for this in the next updater.

Can you provide some more detail on the source audio please?

Last week, knowing that I had 100+ audio cd's to create (sessions from a bible camp where the participants wanted a record of the talks), I loaded 10.4.7 and QT 7.2 onto a spare internal drive and used good old version 7.12. It would seem that the problem that other Toast 8 users had, and myself, still hasn't been fixed in version 9. This is painful - we shouldn't have to reload systems and past versions of QT just to get the software working properly.
