Capture Won't Work After Install

Well this form is my last hope before I spend $35 to get a $60 program to load. EM8 installed fine but the capture program will not work. Any way that Roxio Capture is accessed loads the program and then drops it and you go back to home. I was able to capture using windows movie maker. I was then able to use the captured file in videowave. The photo fix progam also works. I am using a Dell XPS600, Pentium D 830, XP Media Center Edition. video card 256mb pci Express nvida geforce 6800,sound blaster x-fi Xtreme music w/dolby 5.1, pc-cillin antivirus. Brand new. I appreciate any help.

I don't know if I can help or not, but when you mention PC-Cillin, it always raises a red flag. Disable it, and try the Capture again.

Thanks for the help, I decided to remove pc cillin and add Nortons and everything is working.

You are welcome, but install them again, and see if all still works. Sometimes, the order in which software is installed, makes a difference. Computers are all magic, anyway.
