Tivo File Editing

Question

"You can also edit and trim the clips using a simple slider to remove unwanted segments. (This editor works with EyeTV and TiVo recordings as well.)"

Just downloaded Toast 9 as an unpgrade to my Toast 8 because of this feature.

But in my Saturday Download...0.0.1...it's nowhere to be found. I checked "Update" my software and it indicated I have the current version.

Is it capable of transfering Tivo files and edittng them as claimed..or is that feature advertised but not deliverred?

The Toast 9.0.2 update went live quite late last night, and the auto-update notification will be turned on today.

You can grab it from here:

http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/toast/software_updates.html

When you add a TiVo file to the content area, click EDIT and in the window that comes up click the EDIT button.

That will bring up the Toast Video Player to edit the files.

Found the update.

Will try the "Edit" feature.

Couldn't get it to come up at all in the 9.0.1 download.

Hope it works now.

Editing was in 9.0.1, I'm not sure why it wouldn't have shown up there.

Got it to open into edit mode.

Don't see how to set in ands out points and actually edit anything..and the online manual is useless.

Also..my HD plug-in won't install...its' got a circled-slash over it and when I click it ..I get an error message that it is not for my architecture....Mac OSX 10.5.2, Dual Intel Mac Pro.

Reset Permissions as recommened and still it won;t install.

But It's the edit capability that really has me baffled.

WTF?
