Runtime Error At Emc Content Installation

I have purchase the Roxio Suit for Easy Media creator 8 on line, and I download 2 files one wich is EMC Suit 8 and the EMC Content, I have install according to insturction the first, but when I installed the EMCContent an error appears at the final of the instalation, "RUNTIME ERROR Program C:\windows|installer\MSI16.tmp this application request to runtime to terminate it in an unussual way".

 

I have tired several things, install and unistall EMC (both files), reinstall windows installer program, etc, nothing works and the EMC Content 8 is not working also. Who can help me with and advise.

One thing you have to make sure and do is reboot after you install the program files and before you install the content.

Have the same problem as Albert. Did try to install after reboot, but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas if the content CD/dowload affect the operation of Media Manager?

 

It appears that the Content information was partially installed and now Window craps out when I try to uninstall it with and MSI34E runtime error.

 

BTW the core program installs and I was able to create DVDs.
