Making A Single Wav/aiff/mp4 File With Crossfades

benthic

Question

Is there a way to make a single audio file from separate songs? I want to make a "party mix" with trims and crossfades, then rip to a single audio file that can be played back from an iPod or Mac. I do not want to burn to a CD or DVD. I was certain there was a way to do this in Toast, but the documentation is somewhat sketchy. Can anyone offer some guidance and a "how to"?? Thanks!!

Yes. When in the Audio CD setting choose Save as Disc Image. When done open the resulting .sd2f file in iTunes and it will import as a single audio file. You then can use iTunes to convert it to another format.
