Before I start putting together my next slideshow, should I convert my jpgs to png? I've heard that they will display better after the dvd conversion. Anyone agree? Disagree?

I've had great luck with the jpegs from my digital camera. I suggest you try both on a RW as a test and see what YOU like. If you do, please let us know what your opinion is.

Have never heard that PNG were better, but certainly wouldn't hurt to try. I do know that most of the preset overlays in MyDVD and Videowave are indeed PNG. But that may have something to do with patents. PNG is patent free and can have a transparency layer.
