Make sure the Turbo.264 is connected before launching Toast. Add your TiVo files to the content area in the Convert window. Click the red button and choose the iPhone preset and leave it at standard. When you click okay you'll see a window that identifies the Turbo.264 and shows its pulsating circles during the encoding. That's all there is to it.

Thank you. Two follow up questions:

  1. If this doesn't work, what are the troubleshooting steps?
  2. Does this work with Toast 8 or only 9

1. I don't know if it is necessary but install the Turbo.264 software from ElGato.

2. Not in Toast 8. It works in Popcorn 3 and Toast 9.

Hi,

I just purchased elgato turbo.264 and I have toast nine. How do I set it up so I can export tivo files through toast to my iphone? Turbo.264 doesn't support tivo files stand alone.

Thanks.
