Video Trimmer

I'm using Videowave 7 Professional and when I double click the video in the editor mode to trim the video the videotrimer appears but I only see video in the start screen and nothing in the center or end screen and the preview control bar is not displayed. I'm dead in the water I've tried the storyline mode and timeline mode and can't get it to work! What am I doing wrong?

I had a similar issue with DVDBuilder a year or so ago. This was, in fact, the only time I could communicate with a real Roxio tech support for free. Emailing my issue in produced 3 attempts by Roxio to provide resolution. The final reply was "if this doesn't work - you're entitled to a free call to Tech Hotline". That netted me a link in the knowledgebase - describing the issue and instruction to download a feature that resolved the issue.

 

Try asking Roxanne or searching the knowledgebase (use key word "video trimmer"), if you come up with nothing - post back and I'll see if any backups I have from late 2004 still have that download fix.
