Photosuite In Roxio 8 Crashes

Hello anyone have any ideas.

 

Further to my general post of application error ie MediaManager I now have noted that when I try to use PhotoSuite in Roxio 8 (upgrade to V8.05) The program crashes / immediatly shuts down and wants to send an error report to Mr Gates. The strange thing is that awhile ago prior to reloading my system due to installing SATA drives Roxio apppeared to work OK. I have not installed any other hardware....have the latest drivers ie ATI All in Wonder 9800 etc. I am using Adobe Photshop Elements 4 and also Microsoft Digital image Suite 10. However I have used them before without problems. All Windows XP Pro updates are done. one gig of ram so all should be good...latest Asus Bios....hmmmm Iam stuck.

Well I can now use the Photo Suite that came with Easy Media Creator 8.

I decided to give everything one more try and found that since I purchased the Easy Media Creator 8 at a store I needed a patch to get the Photo Suite to work.

So for the time being I am a happy person.

I don't have an answer, but I want you to know you are not the only one that has this problem. I get an error message when I try to open PhotoSuite in Roxio 8, just like you. I also have Roxio 7 installed, and I'm forced to use this older version of PhotoSuite.

I have the same problem, the slide show will lock up. The only way to get out of it, is to reboot, and then your project is lost.

 

AMD Athlon 1.5megs RAM, and SATA drives.

In place I get the same message as everyone else who has posted and received no answer and I'm begining to wonder if there is one.

Since I don't have Photo Suite 7 and I can't get Photo Suite 8 I am not very happy with Roxio.

 

I guess my next target will be Customer Service and hopefully they will have an answer.

 

I have cleaned the reg. each time I uninstalled the program, etc.

 

I have to wonder what Mr. Gates is doing with all these error reports?

No problems with it installing, here.
