Create A Pc/windows Boot Cd?

R8ders2K

Question

Greetings,

I've tried searching, but I really couldn't find any reference to creating a boot CD for PC/Windows.

I followed Microsoft's instructions for creating a slipstreamed XP boot CD with SP2, but other than burning the CD in Boot Camp, is there a way that I can use Toast to create a bootable CD for the PC under Mac OS X?

Thanks in advance.

Well, with Toast you can create a regular ISO disc which is what a bootable Windows CD needs to be. The trick is getting all the files you need for the windows boot disc. There is nothing in toast that will help you gather the files that you need. You would probably want to start by googling for directions on making bootable windows discs and then once you get the directory structure setup the way you want, burn that to an ISO disc with the joliet file system and that should do it.
