No Titles

I have not been able to get any version of EMC to run properly after version 7. I bought V10 and went through the "clean Installation" but it was still slow and finally wouldn't open at all. I repeated the "clean installation" two more times with no success. At this point I decided to revert to the last version which ran well, version 7. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, I dumped the disc. I did find and bought one on eBay. It was boxed and appeared to be new and came with all the paperwork. I prepared for a "clean installation" and installed it. When I went to the DVD Creator module and added titles, the size of the file was reflected in the "slide" bar, but the title did not appear. I repeated this procedure twice, each time downloading and installing the V7 updates. Still no titles are added and its not possible to run the show without them.

 

Can anyone:

1. Offer a suggestion of what may be interfering with V10 that causes it to run slow or not at all? (My first preference would be to install the latest software)

2. Tell me how to get titles added to DVD project on V7

To get EMC 7 to work, you need to roll back Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) to IE 6, and you need to roll back Windows Media Player 11 (WMP 11) to WMP 10 or WMP 9. You may have to uninstall and reinstall EMC 7, after the roll backs.

For interference with EMC 10, what are your computer specs? You may not have the horses to run that version of the software.
