Trying To Figure Out How To Create An Iso Image

Anon

Question

I've been using Roxio Creator 6 for years and have just recently upgraded to Roxio 10. I am trying to create an ISO image. I see how this is done if I want to copy an existing disc to an image. But I want to create an ISO image from a set of files on my hard drive. In Roxio 6, I would do this by selecting the "Create Disc Image" option from the file menu. But I don't see how to do this in Roxio 10. The help files tell me to change the destination to a hard disk. But I don't see how to do that or to launch the "burn project" dialog mentioned in the help files. The destination option in the bottom center of the display doesn't seem have any way to change it. Clicking or right clicking on it doesn't do anything. And if I click the big orange burn button in the lower right, it just asks me for a blank disc.

What am I missing?

If you use the Data Disc app from the Home application then go to the middle bottom where the drives show and click the drop down button on the right side. When it drops hit Browse and you'll be able to choose a location and also make it an iso instead of a gi file.

If you're using Creator Classic then when you hit burn uncheck the boxes by your optical drive and check the box that says Save Disc Image File, hit Browse, choose the location and the file format.

You should be able to do either one.
