Easy Dvd Copy 4

I just boght DVD Copy 4 and I have a couple of questions before I actually take it out of the box and use it. I'm trying to convert DVD's and DVD files (located on hard drive) to MP4 files to play on my PS3. I'm wondering now if I have purchased the right software. I'm also wondering if anyone else has used this software for this same reason or something similar.

 

The DVD files that I have on my computer are VOB and IFO files.

This obviously isn't Roxio Copy & Convert 3, so there isn't a special forum for it here.

 

Is this actually Roxio Easy DVD Copy 4 Premier ??

 

If so, it could be yet another Roxio cut-down application with main suite functions disabled, similar to Copy & Convert 3. The list of features HERE does mention Convert between video file formats but I think you'd need to ask someone with exactly the same software to be sure it will convert DVDs into MP4s.

 

Does anyone else here have this exact same software, please?

It may be a cut down version of Copy and Convert that is in EMC 10. That's what it looks like. Actually it is not a good buy at the price listed. You can get the whole Easy Media Creator (EMC ) 10 Suite for not much more. That gives you many different applications not only for copying and converting but for video and audio editing, back up, and more.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm going to return this software and go with the Easy Media Creator (EMC ) 10 Suite. I do just have one more question, and yes I went to the website and did some research. Does the Easy Media Creator (EMC ) 10 Suite covert VOB and IFO files to MP4 or into another file format that can be used for the PSP/PS3. Thanks.
